Understand exactly what guests see when they visit your event page, select tickets, and complete their reservation.

Hosts who want to understand exactly what guests see when reserving tickets on the event page.

Quick steps

  1. Open your event page.
  2. Click Reserve your spot.
  3. Choose the ticket(s) you want and click Add to cart.
  4. Review your cart and click Continue.
  5. Fill in guest details and any required questions.
  6. Confirm and complete the reservation.

When guests finish these steps, their tickets are reserved and they receive a confirmation email (if enabled for the event).


Step-by-step walkthrough

1. Open the event page and start a reservation

On the public event page, guests will see a Reserve your spot button. They click it to open the ticket selection panel.

2. Select tickets and add them to the cart

Guests choose the ticket type(s) they want. For each ticket type they:

  1. Click on the ticket option or quantity selector.
  2. Click Add to cart.

They can repeat this for multiple ticket types until they have the right combination in their cart. When the selection is ready, they click Continue (for example, Continue for CA$87.75) to move to the checkout details.

3. Enter guest details

On the checkout form, guests fill in their information, such as:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email address
  • City or location
  • Any additional questions you have added (for example, Age range)

After completing the fields, they click Continue to move to the confirmation step.

4. Confirm the reservation

Guests review their details and ticket selection, then confirm to complete the reservation.

Once confirmed, their spot is reserved and they will see a confirmation screen. If you have confirmation emails enabled, they will also receive an email with their ticket details.


Troubleshooting

Guests say the Reserve button is missing
  • Make sure the event is published and not in draft.
  • Check that the event is not set to private or hidden from the public page.
Guests cannot continue after adding tickets to the cart
  • Confirm that at least one ticket is available and not sold out.
  • Ask them to refresh the page or try again in an incognito/private browser window.
Guests do not receive confirmation emails
  • Verify that confirmation emails are turned on for the event.
  • Ask guests to check spam/junk folders.
  • Confirm that they entered the correct email address during checkout.
