Step-by-step walkthrough

1. Open the Marketing workspace and go to Strategies

  1. Go to host.3common.com.
  2. In the left navigation, click Marketing.
  3. In Marketing, click Strategies to open the strategies list.

2. Pick a strategy template and describe your business

  1. From the Strategies list, choose a starting point such as Boost Your Business Growth.
  2. Click the template or description (for example, "Create a custom marketing strategy that aligns with your goals and accelerates your growth.").
  3. Select the channels you want the strategy to focus on (for example Instagram, Facebook, Email, SEO, In-person). You can toggle channels on or off.
  4. In Enter your website, paste your site URL (for example, your main event or venue site).
  5. In Tell us about your business goals and challenges, briefly describe your business and what you want help with. For example:

We run recurring events and want to better understand our audience, bring past guests back to new events, and reach new guests across social, email, SEO, and in-person channels.

  6. Click Generate Strategy.

3. Review the generated strategy

  1. When the strategy is ready, you will see a Strategy Generated state.
  2. Scroll through the sections for each channel (Email, Instagram, Facebook, SEO, In-person) and the summary and predictions.

4. Explore channel-specific recommendations

Use the generated ideas as a playbook for each channel:

  • Email — Segment your list based on past event attendance, promote upcoming events with personalized offers, and use testimonials from past attendees.
  • Instagram — Share behind-the-scenes content, highlights from past shows, and run targeted ads based on genre and audience interests.
  • Facebook — Plan event promotion posts, boosted posts, and community-oriented content.
  • SEO — Improve how potential guests find you via search by optimizing event pages and using relevant keywords.
  • In-person — Host promotional nights or open mics ahead of larger events to gather insights and grow your audience.

At the bottom, read the Summary and Predictions sections to understand how the strategy is expected to impact ticket sales and engagement.

5. Save your strategy

  1. When the strategy looks good, click Save Strategy.
  2. Your strategy will be stored under My Strategies so you can return to it later.

6. Open your saved strategy

  1. Go to My Strategies.
  2. Find the strategy you just created (for example, the one that starts with your business description).
  3. Click View Strategy to open it.

7. Turn the strategy into content

From your saved strategy, you can jump straight into execution:

  • Compose a newsletter — Create an email that follows the Email recommendations in your strategy.
  • Create Instagram post — Draft a post based on the Instagram section.
  • Create Facebook post — Draft a post using the Facebook recommendations.

Each of these actions opens a composer with copy and structure informed by your saved strategy, so you can review, adjust, and publish.

Troubleshooting

The strategy feels too generic

Add more detail about your audience, pricing, and event cadence in the goals/challenges field, then regenerate.

A channel is missing from the strategy

Make sure the channel is selected before you generate. If you turned a channel off, toggle it back on and regenerate the strategy.

I cannot find my saved strategy

Check My Strategies and sort or filter by most recent. Look for the description snippet you typed when you created it.

Actions (newsletter or posts) are not available

Confirm you are viewing a saved strategy, not just the initial template, and that your account has access to the relevant channels.
